• 3 pints strawberries
• 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
• 1 large egg white (optional)

• Heat a saucepan over medium heat. Mix the sugar, water and salt for 3 minutes.
• Cool the syrup for 15 minutes.
• Mix the strawberries and the syrup and also the lemon juice in a blender machine until smooth.
• Optional – mix the egg white into the mixture then freeze.
